Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what happens when you use Spotworthy. We built the app to respect your privacy and keep things simple.

City search

We use the city you pick to find nearby restaurants and cafés that match your vibe. That input is used to search — we don't use it to build a personal profile about you.

Google Places

We use Google's Places API to fetch restaurant details (like names, addresses, ratings, and photos). That data comes from Google's service when we look up spots for your city and vibe.

Saved spots

Places you save are stored only on your device (in your browser). We don't sync them to our servers or tie them to an account.

Selling data

We don't sell your data to third parties.

Personal information

We don't collect personal information like your name or email for general browsing and search. The exception is if you choose to submit the city request form (when you ask us to add a city).

City request form

If you submit that form, we collect your email only so we can notify you when that city is available. We don't use it for unrelated marketing unless we say so separately and you agree.

Analytics

We may use anonymous, aggregated analytics to see how the app is used and how we can improve it. That kind of data isn't tied to your name in a way that identifies you personally.
